Cornerstone Community Federal Credit Union Purchases Building in Getzville to be its First Erie County Branch Location
Lockport, NY – The Board of Directors, and the entire team at Cornerstone Community FCU, is pleased to announce that on Monday, August 23rd it closed on what will be its newest branch location, and first in Erie County, 315 Stahl Road in Getzville.
With an anticipated October opening, this new branch becomes the sixth location for Cornerstone Community FCU, and the very first physical location in Erie County. Securing the Getzville location came out of a desire to expand their field of membership brought about by COVID-19. During the height of the pandemic, Cornerstone Community FCU served WNY small businesses by participating in the PPP (Paycheck Protection Program) disbursing approximately $8.5 million dollars and 144 loans to area business owners.
Chief Executive Officer, Eric M. With a branch in the Amherst area, Cornerstone Community FCU can now support Western New York small businesses with its robust Business Lending Program, and looks forward to building trusting partnerships with local businesses.
